"Whosever room this is should be ashamed!...Huh? You say it's mine? Oh, dear, I knew it looked familiar!" ~Shel Silvertein

Huh. Why does my room look like a bomb went off in it? Haha, maybe one did! The Mandy A-bomb 2000! :D Let this be a lesson to you all. It is not appropriate to leave clothes on the floor. I keep trying to teach this to myself, but so far it has been without any permanent success.

School. Ug, never mind. I was going to write an update about the wonderful world of learning, but it's too depressing to talk about before 7:30. ;P So instead I will share with you a video that I find reverses depression!
Heehee! Ahh....*hugs self* so funny! And adorable! I highly recommend watching the other three episodes. Extremely worth your while and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. :]

Think happy thoughts today! Unfortunately we don't have any pixie dust...

"Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's party!'" ~Robin Williams

*takes a deep breath* Ah....spring air! I know it won't last, but is this weather amazing or what?  It is especially beautiful when combined with eating a mini brownie topped with sweetened cream cheese like the ones I made last night. :D Super easy to make yet so utterly scrumptious!

Oh! Good news! I saw the tiniest hint of a sunrise on my way to school! :D It was so pretty with the mountains creating a black silhouette on the pale blue/green sky. :] I love living here surrounded by the mountains, don't you?

Movie Updates: I've seen quite a few new movies lately. Well, at least new for me. :]  The Adjustment Bureau, Megamind, Dear Frankie, Gladiator (edited), Empire of the Sun, Finding Neverland, Hotel Rwanda and......huh, I swear there was another one....haha, oh well. :] Anyway, I really liked all of them, although I probably didn't like The Adjustment Bureau and Gladiator the most. Not because they were bad, I just expected them to be more epic. :]  Dear Frankie was especially good! I really really loved that movie. :] The more I think about it, the more I love it! It gave me goose bumps (in a good way), made me want to cry, and made me reflect on life. :] It combined Scotland, being deaf, living life, and drama so beautifully. Pretty much you should go look up a trailer and then put it on hold at the library. If you couldn't tell, placing holds on things is my new favorite thing to do. :D

Haha! Speaking of videos and while you're already looking up one, you should definitely watch all the episodes of Kid History on youtube! :D Funniest, cutest, and best youtube videos I've seen in a long time.

So, do you like the quotes in the titles? I do to. (assuming you said yes...) :] I was thinking though, I really want to do something with movie quotes too, so maybe I'll mix them in from time to time. :] I love movies! I adore books too, but I haven't found a good one for a long time. :S If you have any suggestions PLEASE make them! I'm open to basically any genre, although I don't really go for the teen-angsty young adult novels... :]

Go! Make brownies or cookies or cupcakes or doughnuts! For those of you worried about your health, just remember, you have to take care of your mental and emotional health too! And chocolate is the cure my friend! :D

“We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness”

So pretty much I miss driving towards the sunrise every morning.

Daylight savings is marvelous in the fall but positively demonic in the spring. Would it really throw off the universe that much if we just cancelled the spring one all together and gained an hour each year? Yes, yes, I know it would, so stop with the infuriating logical arguments. Well, logic just karate chopped that whimsical thought in the gut... moving on! :D

Life has been so crazy lately! Senior year has been one dead line, meeting, and event right after another. *drags hands down face* Will it ever end?!  Hrumph.  On second thought, I don't really want to know the answer to that question... I'll try and post more often despite everything, unless no one is reading this blog besides me, myself, and I. That's a depressing thought...

I feel like I'm talking to myself. If anyone can hear me, leave a comment! *cricky, cricky* Alrighty then. :] That's ok, I need practice on my writing skills anyway. Besides, rambling on having discussions with one's self is very therapeutic. ;P

Make sure to watch the sunrise sometime this week! It's very beautiful, and something that I really miss. Driving in the dark is so depressing. :]

"Cinema should make you forget you are sitting in a theater." ~Roman Polanski

Ah...I just finished watching the most enchanting, beautiful movie I've seen for a long time. :]  Miss Potter is one of those movies that just makes you want to run out into nature and take pictures, daydream, write, and just breathe in the goodness the world has to offer.  It's a film about Beatrix Potter's life, played by the extremely talented Renee Zellweger.  Yes, she's the creator of Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-duck, and other beautifully drawn characters. I loved the design and atmosphere of the movie and, of course, the story. :] There were so many moments that I absolutely loved! Ah! But I won't tell you any of them because I don't want to ruin the movie for you! :D I will be returning it to the library on Monday so you can go and check it out then. ;]

I love films that can so completely move me and that so eloquently tell the story of what it is to be human. Sigh. . . I am utterly content at this moment. :]

Hobey ho, and so we go...

I've decided to punish or enlighten you all (depending on your view) yet again with my encounters with - yours truly- life.  I have the urge to express myself through word vomit, for lack of a more appetizing expression.  I don't know why I've revived this fetish, seeing as my life is only going to become more hectic from this point on.  Its strange how the brain can agree to disagree with itself, throwing me and logic completely out the window in the process.  That is, if my brain had a window, which I suspect it does because I often forget the simplest things.... where was I? Oh yes.  Anywho I hope you enjoy seeing the world as I see it, and I hope it at least puts a smile on your face. :]  I may be eccentric, comical, and whimsical but I'm always sincere.  Love life and it will love you back. Pretend that you and life are starting over, saying "Shall we forget the whole thing and start fresh?"  At the risk of sounding melodramatic, start a fresh and budding relationship with the world and the people in it!
"When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew." ~Shakespeare
Have a boisterously fabulous day!

P.S. Why yes, I did take that beautiful photo of English flowers that is now the stunning background to my blog! :D
